2023 is coming to an end in a few days. I didn’t achieve everything I planned to, but I met some cool folks along the way and learned a lot.

This is my gift to myself for the New Year – “Conan the Barbarian: The Life and Death of Conan” and “Devil’s Reign”. I want to enter 2024 reading more comics. (Which isn’t that easy where I live because there’s very little to be found in the libraries, and my wallet is suffering.)
My gift to you is the free Santa card you can download from the Freebies page.
2024 highlights
Many things happened this year but a few stand out. I met a couple of local indie comic authors, along with the members of Stripotetke (a group of authors working to make space for women in the Serbian comic scene). Talking with all of them gave me insight into the current state of the Serbian comic scene (which is not doing well at the moment). Which we hope to change.
I started work on Blood Bound book 3, made a video of a scene with Norrim and Stijn with voice actors, went back to reading after years of not having the focus to… and I got a new sword! (Yes, I finally have a proper rapier, it’s from Pike Armory and it’s a beauty.)
Accomplishments and plans
Did I finish and publish a standalone comic this year? Sadly, no. I moved Green Hunter to the next year, but I started work on two shorter comics I plan to finish and publish by March next year. It’s going to take a bit of focus and better time management, because I still do want to work on Blood Bound. Near the end of the year, I kind of lost the momentum and just wanted to read and watch TV. So, the first thing to get done in the next year is publish a short comic, then go from there.
Here’s to 2024 – new year and new opportunities! May it bring peace, health and joy.
