January started promising with my mini vacation, then went downhill pretty fast. We took in a sick stray cat from the neighbourhood, but she didn’t make it. A client ghosted me because my predecessor was undercutting. I got sick. And in the end, I only just started work on the 16 page mini comic I want to publish.
Things aren’t going well but, it’s February already and I’m trying to get back on track. I’m slowly working on another short video with featuring Norrim and Stijn’s story in book 3. I finished pages 30-34, and I think I’m at least halfway if not 2/3 done with this comic book. I need to start working on the script for book 4 yet there’s so many other things going on that I’m either too tired or not in the right mindset. I also want to visually update this and the comic websites a bit.
There’s not much I can say in this blog post. I mostly wrote it because I felt like writing. I was going to write a whole post about how Universal’s music was removed from TikTok and the importance of ownership… In the end I didn’t feel like it. Although, this is kind of why I have this website up – the fact that no one dictates what I can post on it and in which format. There’s no algorithm to feed. It’s more of a public journal of my thoughts mixed with some updates. In my preferred format, which is text. And I don’t have to worry that one day it’ll get deleted out of the blue or the platform will stop existing.
